Direct flights from Europe to Mauritius: airlines, routes and flight time
The European cities with non-stop flights to Mauritius, the airlines, the 2026 frequencies and the flight time from Paris.
At least six European cities have non-stop flights to Mauritius in 2026, according to the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA): Paris, London, Frankfurt, Vienna, Zurich and Rome. From Paris, Air Mauritius flies overnight in 11 to 12 hours depending on direction, with up to 14 flights a week run jointly with Air France.
Which European cities have a direct flight to Mauritius?
The MTPA publishes the list of direct connections with the frequencies announced for 2026. It separates peak and low season, because the schedule changes a lot between the two.
| Country | Airline | European airport | Announced frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| France | Air Mauritius, with Air France | Paris Charles de Gaulle | 10 to 14 flights a week |
| United Kingdom | Air Mauritius | London Gatwick | 5 flights a week |
| Germany | Condor | Frankfurt | 4 flights a week in peak season, 2 in low season |
| Germany | Discover Airlines | Frankfurt | 3 flights a week in peak season, 2 in low season |
| Austria | Austrian Airlines | Vienna | up to 5 flights a week in peak season, 3 to 5 in low season |
| Switzerland | Edelweiss | Zurich | typically 2 flights a week in peak season |
| Italy | ITA | Rome Fiumicino | 2 flights a week |
The MTPA says its list “includes” these routes, so it is not necessarily complete. Geneva, for example, is absent from the MTPA release, yet Air Mauritius served it in winter 2025-2026, with 2 flights a week until 15 January and one a week after that.
How long is the flight from Paris to Mauritius?
Air Mauritius’s winter 2025-2026 timetable, valid from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026, shows the pattern clearly. Flight MK015 leaves Paris Charles de Gaulle at 16:20 every day and lands in Mauritius at 06:35 the next morning. Going back, MK014 departs Mauritius at 22:35 and reaches Paris at 07:35 the next morning.
Allowing for the time difference (Paris is UTC+1 and Mauritius UTC+4 in that timetable), that works out at just over 11 hours on the way out and about 12 hours on the way back. Several extra flights carry an Air Mauritius flight number but are operated by Air France, and are sold as codeshares.
Flight times on the other routes depend on the airline and the season. They are shown on the timetable when you book.
Why frequencies change from season to season
The schedule follows demand. For winter 2025-2026, Air Mauritius announced 14 flights a week to Paris Charles de Gaulle with Air France, plus extra flights in peak periods, and 5 a week to London Gatwick.
The airline can also add flights mid-season. In March 2026 it announced four extra rotations between Mauritius and Paris Charles de Gaulle, in March and April, adding more than 2,300 seats on codeshare with Air France. It said it would keep watching the international aviation environment and adjust operations if needed.
The winter 2025-2026 timetable quoted here shows what a season looks like, not what is in force now. Before you fix a departure date, check the current season’s schedule with the airline.
Reaching Mauritius from a city with no direct flight
Air Mauritius builds on partner airlines and international hubs, which lets you connect to Mauritius from other European cities. The main example is Dubai: in winter 2025-2026 there were two flights a day in each direction, operated by Emirates and also sold by Air Mauritius.
What flight frequency means for a Mauritius project
Frequency matters most for a scouting trip, or for an owner who lives in Europe. With Condor’s 2 flights a week from Frankfurt in low season, for example, your travel dates are far more restricted than with the near-daily rotation from Paris.
