This permit is issued in your own name and for one person only. It entitles the family to a Dependent’s Permit: spouse, children, parents.

This permit authorizes the exercise of a one-person business activity, where the worker operates exclusively on his or her own behalf.

Conditions for obtaining this permit include an initial transfer of 35,000 USD (or the equivalent in freely convertible currency) to a local bank account in Mauritius at the time of permit issue. To renew the license, the business must generate an annual income of at least 800,000 rupees from the third year of registration.
